History of Architecture

Architecture has changed over the years under various categories which include tradition, region, latest trends, civil, military, sacred, and even landscape. Architecture over the years can be classified as ancient Mesopotamia, Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Persian, African, Asian and Oceanic.

The specific type of Architecture that we see in our humble state is a result of the influence of several foreign Architectures.  These Architectures have risen up in our state after years of dominance of foreign power. We have also adopted religious Architecture with the inclusion of temples, churches and mosques. There are also certain key features that are unique to Kerala Architecture, such as Nalukettu, Padippura and Charupady.

Top Architecture Colleges in South India are even constructed on the basis of these ever changing Architecture trends.
