French designer and manufacturer Lumicene have proposed a compact dwelling unit made solely for the purpose of having a closer connection with nature. The design is rightfully called LumiPod which has a curved structure which is designed around a 5m diameter window which has slide rails that can be opened to the outdoors. The entire structure is only 180 square foot and includes bedroom washroom and a shower area. The name LumiPod comes from the Lumicene window around which the entire structure is built. This curved glass comes in aluminium frames and is built in the form of two moduli and the entire unit can be assembled within just 2 days and can be delivered anywhere in the world. The off-grid version of LumiaPod will be available in the markets by 2020.
