The very first thing that one needs for an Architectural approach of subterranean space is to study its properties and principles of development. One must also be well informed about its history including its successes and failures over the years. This transition would provide an adequate response to the challenges of modern metropolises where the conception and development of a change in paradigm is ever expected. One must unify the agents between the underground and the city above it in order to make the study as cross-disciplinary as possible and also to mix competences and points of views to act on the subsurface through a systemic approach of the underground and attain subterranean development. There must always be a gradual involvement of the development players, researchers and academics in elaborating the project.
Here at Sigma College of Architecture, one of the top Architectural colleges in South India we help our students broaden their horizons by educating them on more challenging Architecture concepts.
